Your vision board
Everything you put on a board — images, the lines you write, categories, what you have marked achieved — is stored by your own browser, on the device you are using. It is never uploaded. There is no server holding it, no account attached to it, and no copy of it that we can see, search, or hand to anyone else.
That is a deliberate trade. It means your board is genuinely yours and genuinely private. It also means it lives on whichever device you built it on, and that clearing your browser data will delete it. Use the Export button to save a backup file if you want to keep a copy or move it to another device. That file goes to your own downloads folder, and nowhere else.
Your boards and what you put on them are your own. Sharing any of it is entirely your choice: the share and print features build a file on your device and hand it to you, and nothing is published anywhere unless you do it yourself.
What the site measures
We use Google Analytics, loaded via the Google tag, to understand how many people visit, which pages they land on, roughly where in the world they are, and which search terms bring them here. We use it to know whether the site is reaching anyone and whether what we write is worth writing. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, also records standard request information as part of serving and protecting the site.
This is ordinary traffic measurement. It tells us that a page was viewed. It does not tell us anything about what you put on your board, because that information never reaches us in the first place.
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects a device identifier and IP-derived approximate location. Google acts as our data processor for this, and you can read what they do with it in Google’s privacy policy. If you would rather not be counted, you can use Google’s opt-out add-on, block analytics in your browser or an extension, where supported. A Do Not Track setting alone may not prevent analytics requests.
We count visits. We do not collect, store, or look at anything you create on your board, because it is never sent to us.
Buying the guide
Past the Edge is sold through Gumroad. If you buy it, the checkout happens on Gumroad’s own site and Gumroad handles your payment details and email address as the seller of record. We never see or store your card information. Gumroad’s handling of your data is covered by their privacy policy.
Other things the site loads
- Google Fonts. Typefaces are served from Google’s font service, which means your browser makes a request to them when a page loads.
- Images you add by link. If you add a board image by pasting a URL rather than uploading a file, your browser fetches that image from whoever hosts it, exactly as it would if you visited the page yourself.
There is no advertising on this site, no third-party ad network, and nothing here is sold or passed to data brokers.
Children
You must be at least 16 to use the site, as stated in the terms. The site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Your rights
Because your board is stored only on your device, you already control it completely: you can edit it, export it, or clear it at any time without asking us. For the analytics data described above, if you are in a region with rights of access or erasure — such as the UK, EU, or Canada — write to us and we will action it.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Questions about any of it can go to info@nagisolutions.com.
